Heavy feeling between my legs

This is my first post. I hope I am doing this right. I need one of my first grade students to help me with the computer! HAHA!

I was wondering if any of you have had this problem. I am feeling a really heavy feeling between my legs. It runs almost the length, front to back, I hope you understand what I mean. I am 5 weeks post (TAH) tomorrow. I feel really good except for that and the back pain! Oh! and ALL is working fine down there so I don't think that could be it.

True, they didn't drag your uterus out vaginally, but in surgery, they used a lot of instruments inside the vagina to hold that ute steady. Swelling is the result and that can last several weeks post op.

I would definately address this with the doc. Other possible diagnosis here and someone with a medical degree and a speculum needs to make the call.

Yes, I agree--are you scheduled to see your doc soon anyway? If not, I'd give him/her a call. Very rarely, some people do experience prolapse after this kind of surgery and one of the signs is a feeling of heaviness or pressure (sometimes you can even see the prolapsed organ in the vagina, so you might want to look). I'm not trying to alarm you, but it sounds like it might be good to call your doc and see if you should be checked out.
