What a relief!

Good morning!

Had my TAH BSO on Jan. 21 and was home yesterday. Surgery went well - all the nasty endo stuff was removed along with everything else (the doc wanted to try to save my ovaries but they were too damaged and had endometriomas larger than the ovaries themselves). I had some vicious nausea but was up on my feet the night of surgery and have been doing well since.

The relief - eventhough I have pain from the incision, all my constant endo pain is gone! I am taking less pain meds after surgery than I was taking before for the endo pain. I feel like a new woman! Even my doc said that I look like a new woman, eventhough I have swelly belly and am waddling like cave woman...

My stay at the Castle was great because of the wonderful and caring staff.

To all LIW - I hope your experience is as good as mine and as all the ladies say - the hardest part is waiting for your day at the Castle!

to all!
Sandra

PS: my crown arrived in the mail yesterday - perfect time as I am now a !
