This is the first time I've been able to get on-line with this forum. I had to use my work e-mail and I sure could have done with this before, during and post-op.
I am 10 weeks post-up and I am terrified to have sex!!!! (I had a TAH) when I went in for my 6-week check, my Dr. showed me a small sternum and said "you don't want anything in your vigina bigger than this, and to take it easy". WOW, I went back to work, ( I work in a busy fundraising office at a university), no one understands!!, not to mention my husband is much bigger than what the Dr. showed me, (Poor hubby, he'll never be able to have sex with me again!!!!!!) I just wish my Dr. had told me about the details after my TAH!!!!!
Oh Chris, don't be afraid. I was so afraid at six weeks when the Dr gave me the ok that we waited until week seven and it was great! We were both a little soar the next day because we over did it, but it's been just fine since. I know how you feel though. It's scary. I can just tell you from my own experience, that it has all been fine and even better than before! I had everything removed and was worried about not having my cervix, but it's been fine. Good luck to you! Beth
