have sex for first time today 8 weeks have a lots of pain and bleed is this normal

The first time I had sex I did spot a bit and had some uncomfortableness, but no pain. Of course throughout the entire time I kept making sure the penetration was not too far and we were very careful. I think DH was just a worried as me. Maybe you should give your Dr. all call and let him know what is going on and see what advice he gives you. As always, when in doubt, call.

Monday will be 9 weeks post op for me. The night of my 6 weeks check up, DH and I had sex. He was wonderful, wanted to make sure that it didn't hurt, etc.

I was okay. Not pain, but uncomfortable. I think I was worrying and thinking about it too much. Pyschological can sometimes take over the physical. I have since learned to relax a little more, and enjoy it again. I know it will take time until all is back. I didn't have spotting, but I had crampy feelings afterwards, and the next day.

Just take it easy, and one step at a time.

My Dr told me to call if any bleeding occured after she saw me for my last time after surgery. You may have granulation tissue or something else. Many times a simple procedure at the DR office is all that is needed. Call your DR for answers.
