I made it Home! Thank you ALL!!

Hi everyone - I will only sit here a minute but I made it through surgery last Wednesday and came home from the castle yesterday (sat). The doctor was so funny - I had TONS of endo, a huge mushroom like fibroid that was 3" on the top of it, and endo on bladder and gall bladder. She cleaned me out - said she wanted to "Stomp" on my uterus it looked so horrible!
Thank you somuch for all the advice - this is indeed a precious resource - which I shared with all the nurses. They copied the "15 Things I've learned" paper to share.

IT Really helped me to read the "AFTER" stories when I was waiting. Good luck to all you ladies...the waiting is the hardest part - especially at the hospital - the 2nd hardest was the hot flash ( I had two) - but my doc said I'd be dancing in 6 months. She was amazed I could still function after seeing my insides. A new life is waiting ladies!
So, it'll be okay!!!
I didn't get sick either from the anesthesia!!!

Hi Kat, so glad you are home and it's over for you...let the healing begin!!

I'm also having a TAH/BSO on Tuesday February 4th! I can't wait until this is all done...my fibroid has been such a pain...such pressure and making me look pregnant!

Please pamper yourself in the next few weeks; take it slow and keep us posted on how you are coming along.
