Comfort Food? I think mine is home made pasta...But I also love really good soup.

So what's your favorite comfort food on these cold winter days/nights...

Ice cream is definately my comfort food. I always have hubby go out and get some when I'm feeling down or in pain!

Homemade chili

homemade baked macaroni & cheese. mmmmmmmmmm

potato soup

homemade scalloped potatoes & ham

toast with butter & peanut butter
or if I'm sick, toast with butter & cinnamon & sugar

really good bread or croissant with real butter & cherry preserves

So, ya think maybe I'm a carb addict???????????

Soup beans, cornbread, fried potatoes, and sauerkraut

Creamed Turkey on Baking Power Biscuits, made by my Mommy. Unfortunately, I'm several states away but I do have the recipie, but I don't think DBF will be able to make it the way she (or I ) can.

Comfort food....

Anything pasta. I have a bread maker and look out! Not only at dinner but for toast or French bread in the morning. Oatmeal w/brown sugar & milk, cornflakes with milk & a sliced banana. Can you tell I eat breakfast? Cream of chipped beef over mashed potatoes. Cream of corn. Tomato soup 1/2 milk & 1/2 water over wide soup noodles. It's amazing I still stay slim.
