Help for the sisters to a rapid recovery

Hi ladies,
I went to my dr today 1 week post op and he was pleased and amazed at how my incision has healed. He took the staples out. He asked me what I'd been doing to facilitate such a rapid healing of the incision, and I wanted to share this info with my sisters. Every morning when I get up I drink an 8 oz glass of wheatgrass juice and it's working wonders. I did this quite a bit prior to the surgery too. I drink 8 glasses of water per day too. I think this is what's making the difference. I've never used pain meds (even while in the hosp) and I think it has helped to clear my system from the anesthesia and other traumas of the surgery. I feel good too. If you are interested, PLEASE do a search on wheatgrass juice to read about the benefits it can provide with cleansing the blood and promote rapid healing of body tissues. Feel free to ask me questions too if you'd like. Love, prayers, hugs nad rapid healing to all my sisters.

Love you all !!
Cathy

The wheatgrass can be obtained from any healthfood store in your area. If your health store has a deli, fresh squeezed wheatgrass is the best. However, the powder works very well too. The main benefits are to help the body heal and detoxify the toxins of surgery as quickly as possible. It works with your immune system and therefore helps things to work quicker instead of slowing it down by filling your body up with toxins like pain meds. Now please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I have all the answers because some of the sisters NEED the pain meds to make it thru. So this regimen would be something to work toward instead of jumping in quickly. I've been taking this stuff for many months prior to my surgery and directly after, so my body was prepared to respond to a quick heal recovery.

And don't forget the 8 glasses of quality water per day too !!!
