4 week post-op bleeding

Hi gals!

I've got a new one for me. I didn't have any (vaginal)bleeding after my tah/bso on 2/10. Today while out to day at the store I got a cramp and thought I needed to have a bm. I went to the restroom and after having a bm I noticed that I was bleeding from my vagina. When I went for my check up onn Friday my Dr. said he found a mass behind my vagina. He said he didn't know what kind of mass it was, possibly scar tissue. He said he would check it at my 6 wk check up... I guess my question is has anyone else had anything like this hapen? I didn't call my dr because it was his day off. I'm afraid he will think that I am just panicking. I have a very heavy feeling in my bottom and my back has been hurting since this happened. Any advicse will be appreciated.

thanks ladies

4 week post-op bleeding

Hi,

I just got back from my 4 week appt with the complaint of low back pain and cramping. My Dr. said that I have should have no more cramping since the uterus is gone. I beg to differ, but who am I, just the patient. At any rate, I've been on heat to my lower back every since my TAH on 2/10/03. By the way, she blames the low back pain to my shoveling 48 hours prior to my hysterectomy. Please let me know your findings because I'm very curious as to why I would be having this pain. She even asked if that's why I had the hyst because of the low back pain. I told her know ( as if there were no other prevailing reasons like adnmeyosis, fibroids etc).

My prayers go out for you and the Dr. that they can come up with a reason which doesn't persent any further surgery or complications for you. Please email me once you get the results.

God Bless:-)

bleeding 4 wk post op

Hey gals-

Went to Dr. today and he said that everything looked o.k. He said that he thought the bleeding was from stitches disolving. He checked me and did a rectal exam also and said that he didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I'm relieved. He said if it happened again to let him know right away. He also suggested that I do a fleet drink that will clean out my bowels and that should help with some of the discomfort that I have been having. Hopefully with the weekend coming nothing else will happen.

Thanks for the support ladies!!

Love

Chuckie
