1 wk of Cipro, now Bacterial vaginosis infection!

I am so mad! I was put on Cipro for a week, ate my yogurt like a good princess, and now I have a dumb bacterial infection! OOHHH sometimes I hate antibiotics! Now I gotta go back to the doc again for this! and I am only 4 weeks (almost) post-op. Other than that, I feel great, except for a tension headache. Any hints for other things to do when I have to take antibiotics to prevent this???

I am sorry you are having difficulties with the antibiotics/infections. When I am on antibiotics I eat yogurt too - I also drink plenty of water and juice (especially cranberry juice).

sorry to hear about your infection those are horrible when your not having the prob after surg.
and to jsut think i get put on cipro tommorrow for UTI my hyst was last Tuesday and im prone to vaginal infections also but the only thing i do is the yougurt have you tried those new pills they have for yeast infections call your dr i used them last time and was cleared up in 24 hrs and no messy creams or anything I cant think of the name though but call your dr they will know
