Patch adhesive

Does anyone have a good solution to removing the adhesive left from patch removal?I feel like a sticker book gone bad.

Patch adhesive

(((beckster)))

Hi, I certainly know the feeling! I use Vivelle Dot patch. Been since my surgery back in May of last year.

What I found works the best on me is plain alcohol on a cotton pad or even the alcohol prep pads. Nothing else seems to do the job for me removing that gunk.

Here is a link to another discussion on the adhesive removal you may want to check out when you get a few minutes...

Hope you find something that works great for you. If you have any other ideas than we have talked about here, please let us know.

I have used Bath and Body Works Body Smoothers. They are liquid soap with little scrubbers in them. Exfoliate and get that gunk off at the same time!

Patch adhesive

Hi There,

I've been applying the V.Dot patch for 2 years. I remove the adhesive with make up remover. Seems to work OK for me. Hope this helps.

Patch adhesive

I have used alcohol prep pads for the past year and they work fine for me, although sometimes I do have to rub kind of hard. However, I was at the medical supply store today (my, how our choice of shopping venues changes after a hyst ) and saw a box of 'adhesive tape remover pads' by Triad... individually foil wrapped. I picked some up and can't wait to try them out!

The ingredients of these are listed as mineral oil, fragrance, PEG-98 and lanolin. At $16.95 for 100 pads they are a bit pricey, but I travel a lot and the convenience of having individually foil wrapped pads (a la Wash N Dri) is worth it.

Hi Sisters,
I just tried some Mary Kay body scrub on a wet wash cloth. It seemed to work fine. Just thought I'd share that one.
