fever

Hi all,

Hystersisters is fantastic.
I look forward to sharing my story -- but unfortunately that will have to wait for now.

I have my LSH scheduled for Wednesday 3-19-03 (woo hoo!!)

Problem: I am running a slight fever, and am trying to figure out what to do. I know I am not supposed to take aspirin or any NSAIDs. Am avoiding all my usual herbal remedies. But I *do* want to keep my surgery date. Does anyone know if Tylenol is on the avoid list? Unfortunately it is Saturday evening here so I can't connect with my Dr.
Any info or suggestions of links or old threads to pursue would be much appreciated!

According to my dr tylenol is fine it is asprin based products you

must avoid pre op. If in doubt call your dr.He may want to know

you are running a fever.

A fever? Sorry to hear that. Do call your doctor on Monday, especially if you still have the fever. If you come down with a respiratory infection or the 'flu I'm pretty sure they won't do the surgery. Drink lots of fluid and get a lot of rest! Maybe you can head this off at the pass.
