physical therapy

I'm starting physical therapy this week for an unrelated (arthritic) condition, but I am hoping it helps what is left of my sore tummy. When I had my evaluation last week, she said she could tell my lower pelvis was still sore, and my massage therapist said I'm really still guarding my pelvic area.
I had alot of severe pre-surgery pelvic pain, though, and am still really tense and compensating for that, which is, I am sure, not helping the healing. We are going to do warm water pool theray. I'll post on this thread if it seems to be working out for me over the next few weeks.

I've been concerned about that too. For the past several months I've been taking water arobics after atotal hip replacement last year. When to be able to get back to the arobics after a TAH? My DR said to wait 12 weeks (same as for lifting or doing strenuous work). Has to do with germs in the water even though clorine is used in the pool. Would like to hear more on the subject.
