Flush, then Nausea?

Hi Everyone,

Now I am about 2 months post and I suppose the hormone levels are going to start to point me in the "right" direction since the pre-op stores are gone.

I am on the Vivelle dot .05, am 35, and have felt fine until about 4 or 5 days ago. In the evening, I will suddenly get hot, not really sweating and nothing too terrible, but then a few minutes later I get very nauseous. Is this a hot flash? I don't have to throw up or anything, just feel very nauseated for a while, then the cycle repeats about a half dozen times. It is awful waking up at 4 am sick and hot.

Any ideas??

Me too

I feel that way every time the HRT is changed, nausea in the evening after a bout of flushes and flashes. It has subsided in a week or less each time.

Good Luck.

sea jules,
since you've been on the vivelle for so long, i would call your dr. it sounds to me like you may need a little more estrogen.
