Second Thoughts
Hi everyone,
I haven't been logged on for awhile -- hope everyone is keeping well
This is a question I'm throwing out to everyone... does anyone out there ever have second thoughts that perhaps you don't need this surgery?
My little voice is screaming at me these days that this is not right. That its not all that bad and I can live with it.
Understand -- I'm not afraid of the procedure, I'm not planning on having or can't have kids, so that's not it. I don't feel particularily sorry to see my uterus go. But its just this overwhelming feeling that this is not the route to take right now.
Lately it has not been that bad, the pain if tolerable etc..
On the flip side it takes about 10 months to get a date for surgery, which I should be scheduled for May or June
Anyone ????

Second Thoughts
Hi Elisabeth
Sometimes that little voice knows something and it pays to listen to it. I'm not saying you should do that, but if you are having doubts why don't you get a second opinion or look into other options.
Wishing you the best in your decision making...

Second Thoughts
If you're having second thoughts then before you have surgery you should have a second or third or fourth, or how ever many it takes so you are sure that whatever decision you make is the right one for you.
This surgery is "final", there is no going back after. So definitely get more opinions, research other options, weigh the pros and cons and make your decision. But it really is important that you know in your heart that you are making the right decision for you, so don' t feel rushed.
Best wishes, and let us know what you decide.

Second Thoughts
Elizabeth,
This is SOOOOOOOOO common! I changed my mind so many times I didn't know if I was coming or going! This is a big decision you are making here It is natural to wonder if you are doing the right thing! but if you are that unsure get a second opinion!
No one can make this decision for you but please remember this happens to everyone you aren't alone! Another recomendation is to come to chat and talk with the ladies they may be able to help with any questions or concerns you have there also! They are a great bunch of girls! VERY helpful! If you need anything feel free to comtact me by private message ok?
Take care and best of luck to you!
