Testosterone Cream (Long but worth reading)
Hey Sisters,
Please wish me success with my new testosterone. As some of you might remember, I was on the drops, for about 7 weeks. Without ANY change in energy, libido etc. Well My wonderful dr agreed to try the cream. I put it on last night for the first time. It gave me a warm feeling in the vulva area for short time and then it kind of tingle for a while after taht. No complaints though.. I must say that was more feelings than I ever got from the drops, lol.... Why do we use it at bedtime and not during the day. And last but not least, I have been working with my ins, to see if they would cover testosterone, I did find out by my compound pharmacist that there is a new testoterone on the market that comes pre-measured with all the ingredients. All the pharmacists has to do is mix it when ordered. It was reguarly about $45.00 per jar, but with my co-pay it was only $32.90. Better than $120.00 for drops that would only last about 2 months. I am going to see if my regular pharmacy, which is Longs Drugs can order it for me next time instead of using a compound pharmacy. The name is FIRST Testosterone and made by CUTISPHARMA. I went online but really couln't find alot of info on it. But I am sure going to give it a try.

Testosterone Cream (Long but worth reading)
here is the pharmaceutical company's web site on this testosterone www.cutispharma.com/product2.htm
i read in the testamonials that a regular pharmacy (CVS) had commented on it, so it sounds like your regular pharmacy could order it.
also, is your testosterone in a petroleum (greasy) base?

Hi Cynthia,
Yes it is in the petroleum base. I will go on the sight that you listed, and read more on this product. Have you used it yourself or know of any one that has?
Thanks Cindy

Testosterone Cream (Long but worth reading)
Hi Cindy I checked into FIRST testosterone .... it is testosterone propionate rather than natural testosterone. This makes it a bit stronger (it is often prescribed to men) and you would be more likely to experience side effects. That would be something to watch out for if you decide to try it.
Also as (((Cynthia))) mentioned, the greasy base tends to get on clothing and take a long time to absorb, so that's why it's suggested that you use it at bedtime.
How is your cream working out for you? I assume it is a natural compounded testosterone? JMHO, but I would stick with that if you're able to get it... the cost per application works out to be very low considering how long a tube lasts at the small amounts we use. I don't think it would be worth risking the change to something synthetic.
 s,
-Linda
