HysterSister Now

Hello everyone
Finally made it to the Land of Hyster & am very happily settling in to my new surroundings.
I was so worried that I would wake up from surgery as some mutilated mutant from some far distant planet.
Had my surgery (everything went) on Thursday morning & was released to come home on Friday. Experienced pain only when I laughed (and why is it everything is hilarious when you cant laugh????) or tried to move with anything but the grace of the most accomplished ballerina.
I have to keep repeating to myself "Only one chance to heal Cheri, one chance to heal".....that will be the hard part, taking it easy when I dont idle well at all....
Thank you all so much for the support youve given me & I hope I can offer the same for others facing this transformation.
I love my new home!!!

Welcome to Post Op!! I am so glad to hear that all went well and you are home adjusting to being a Pampered
It is hard to adjust when we are so used to being busy all of the time. But you are keeping the right attitude about having only one chance to heal !! And remember this isn't forever. Once you hit that 6 week mark you'll be able to do more and more. And just think, what is 6 -8 weeks compared to a lifetime of feeling good?
