Wanted to share my story in hopes it might help a "sister"

Hey Ladies!
First wanted to say I really appreciate all the information the "sisters" have posted. Really helpful and made my visit to the castle much easier.
I am almost 2 weeks post op, had LAVH due to endometrisos, keeping only left ovary. I couldn't wait til my foggy brain could comprend again to see how everyone here is doing and show how much I appreciate the "sisters". Foggy brain is getting better now. Slowing getting sleep schedule back to normal.
Wanted to share my story in hopes it may help another "sister". Went to Castle on March 28 (Friday). Surgery at 9:00 am. DH more nervous than me which actually gave me something to think about besides being nervous. Surgery went for about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. My BP was up so stayed in recovery for a couple more hrs being monitored. Once in room, always sleepy. DH said when I was awake I was very funny and entertaining due to pain meds. I remember feeling the swelly belly due to gas build up. Did lots of walking with DH the 3 days I was there. DH was really great and stayed with me through it all. Came home that Sun. That Tues. got bowels to move and what a relief. Hints about Milk of Mag and laxatives really helped. Thanks, ladies! I have been sleeping a lot and get tired really easy. Walking helps the occasinal swelly belly more than you can imagine. Good thing to remember, ladies.
Have been really blessed due to fact that I have learnd that so many others have had some much trouble.
Wish everyone speedy recoverys and best wishes.
Thanks again to "hystersisters"! Great website!

Hi Netter,

It sounds like you prepared for your training and are wearing your crown proudly!

Seriously, I'm very glad to hear that you have been doing well and that your recovery is moving along. Thank you for sharing what has helped you as I know that others, especially the LIW's, always appreciate it.

Best wishes and s
