surgical menopause - diabetes

Good morning Ladies,

Anyone have gestational Diabetes (bad!) and then have all the symptoms come back after the Hist?

I know having gestational diabetes as bad as I did puts me at a very high risk of type II diabetes and I do have my blood sugar checked by my Dr. every year (am going in next week to have it 'officially' checked by my Dr. - my readings have it high). I also have a glucose monitor that I can use to check it myself if I'm feeling funky.

Just wondering if anyone else out there experienced the same thing?
