When can i get rid of the pads????

Hi missc4,

I really don't know the answer to your question, as it varies as to when discharge stops for us sisters (or whether we have discharge at all). I didn't have any bleeding, just a very light discharge for a couple of weeks. Your dr. might be able to give you an idea when you have your check up. I think it depends on whether your stitches have dissolved, and the dr. can usually check for that. I know you can't wait to have that pad burning party!!

When can i get rid of the pads????

I know it is a real downer with these pads. I'm 5 weeks and still have need for a mini. I stopped with the spotting at 3 weeks and then started a yellowish discharge since. It is light and no smell, just there. I would hang on to the pads. When the stitches start dissolving you may spot a little blood or pinkish fluid. I did that a couple of days ago. I also found some stitches when I went to pee. Sometimes I've even seen ladies as far along as 8 weeks over do it and spot. We are not even 50 percent healed at 6 weeks. I heard it was more like 6months to a year to heal completely inside. It will get better. Sometimes just a call to the Dr. can alleviate any questions about all these recovery problems. I know they have heard from me these last weeks. They have heard it all. They get paid the big bucks.

When can i get rid of the pads????

I had quite a bit of bleeding for 10 days post from a TAH, and then enough discharge to need pads for a little over a month. I didn't give away my pads until 2-1/2 months post. I still need to pitch my last unfinished BC pill pack. Don't need that collecting dust for nothing. Hee Hee!!! I love it
