Feelings Too!

Angel,

I have those cramps too, my sides where my ovaries were are sore also. Did you have ovaries taken out? I guess at 3 months we thought we should not be feeling like this. I hope it is just not the two of us. I will be reading the post to see what other before us say. Take care and hope your cramps go away soon!!

If you kept your ovaries, you will still have a menstrul cycle -- just not the period and the blood; but the ovaries will still produce the egg, and your body will still have the cycle. If endometreosis is at all present, it will also continue to respond to the cycle, I just learned at my post-op. (3 week post op from tah 3-27) So ... I'd be curious if this is part of it, or if it is just the organs all finally settling where they belong in our current bodies!

Hoe any of this helps...

feel like i'm about to start my period.....

If they removed the endometris, it won't continue to cramp, etc. With the uterus gone, the endometry cells aren't there to "leak" and continue to spread .... So, I'm sorry to panic you!!! I just learned that I had some -- which they found during surgery. Removed some, but not all .... that's when the Dr informed me it will still continue to respond to my cycle -- but shouldn't present future problems because the uterus is gone, and there aren't more cells. However, we do still have the cycle...

Hope this clarification helped....

crampy and bloated!

It's been a little over 3 months since the hysterectomy, and suddenly, the swelly belly is happening again with prolonged sitting at work or lifting slightly heavy stuff. (It was getting better for awhile) Also, I get crampy accompanied by tenderness in the ovary area periodically. (I only have one ovary left and no uterus. ) Just so you know, you're not alone...guess it takes patience and not overdoing it when it's acting up! Till that time comes when there's no more 2 steps forward and 1 step backward, hang in there Girl! Hugs!!! "Susan"
