The Hyster Sisters Guide

Hello fellow LIW's!! I'm going into the castle 4/23 for a TAH ...only one more week to go. I just got my copy of Through The Land Of Hyster The Hyster Sisters Guide Book. It is awsome and a must have for bedtime stories while at the castle. I am a bit overwhelmed at the amount of work I have to get done before the big day. I have to finish writing 2 papers (if I finish the papers I'll receive my bachelors degree in May) and am having a hard time concentrating. Does anyone have an idea as to how I'm going to finish the work???
Thanks - Sea

Have you spoken to your instructors? Usually you can negotiate an extension.

I can't think now, either. My brain is far too fuzzy.

Hi Sea,

Oh my, I'm not sure I could have written two papers right before my hyst!

Here's a suggestion anyway ... schedule time for working on the papers and time for thinking about/preparing for your hyst. I think the only way to get the papers done is to be very disciplined about when you will think about your hyst and when you'll do your writing.

I worked full time and went to class at night to get my masters degree, so I know how challenging this can be. Adding a hyst to the mix would really make concentrating hard ... so don't try to say you won't think about surgery.

Best of luck with the papers and your upcoming surgery. Sending hugs your way.

Beth

Work Hard!!

Best of luck!
I agree with Beth - do try to get as much as possible done first. It will surely take your mind off worring - sometimes the worst times about the whole operation. I had big plans about all the work I was going to do when I had my 4 to 6 weeks off and have done none of it!! Try to concentrate NOW and get your work done. While I was not in too much pain, some sisters are after surgery and you don't need to have extra worry. It's "Heads down bum up" for you I'm afaid for the next few days..I am sure you can do it!
Best of luck, I am sure everything will go fine!!
