Tummy Support?
Any hints on support for the tummy? I'm fine unless I'm on my feet or sitting straight up for a while...then I feel like I could use an ace bandage wrapped around my middle to hold those muscles in! They don't really hurt, but just get tired. I'm one week post op today. What about a support panty? Or one of those pregnancy back supporters? Does anyone use anything? Or maybe I should just go lay down when I feel that way? ha ha
Thanks.

Support Panty
Hi Semperfidelis,
I am using something called a light support panty. I got it at Walmart. They came in a two-pack. You could probably find them anywhere. It is a brief that is kind of silky, but stretchy. It doesn't put too much pressure on my belly, it only keeps it from sagging so much and keeps it from feeling like it is pulling down.

Tummy Support?
You may want to use a light support panty hose (cut off the legs) . This should give you support to you belly and won't cut into your middle section. Sometimes the belly button can get irritated.
Hope it helps:-)
Take Care:-)

On the other hand, your idea of laying down when you're uncomfortable isn't a bad one.

Tummy Support?
I went to Target, got 2 for $8 support briefs, still a couple sizes larger for the swollen tummy --- but it is a HUGE help ... the swelling doesn't balloon like it did last week. (4 weeks post today) and I've worked mornings this week. the one day I didn't wear them was awful, the other three have gone very smooth ... I credit the support panty for at least some of that! For what it's worth --best $16 i've spent.
