Hernias / Please Read!!!

Hello To Everyone,

I've found this new site, please check it ...............

http://www.shouldice.com

It's a place in Canada where they repair hernias and do not use the mesh. I'm in such a fix since my hyster. like alot of you are. But I do know I will not have another surgery and loose my ovaries by the Dr. I now use. Herniajo, I to lost alot of blood during my surgery and wish I had not had my hyster. I was told by my Gyn. I had a large mass, and thought it was cancer. Really, I was mislead about the whole thing and it makes me so mad! My husband said we would go to Canada for me to have this done if I wanted to. But really the expense of it we cannot afford.
I will be in pray about this though and I know God can make a way, not only for me but to any of you also. Just check out this site and read how they do things different with
hernias. I pray God be with you all, and thanks for helping me.

God Bless,
Lore

Hernias / Please Read!!!

I hate to see you in the pain of second guessing yourself, Lore. There is unfortunately no other way for them to know for sure what a large mass is except to get it out of you. The only way you could be misled in this instance is if you did not in fact have a large mass. I hope that wasn't the case.

You could wait and see if the large mass changed shape, but the more months you wait with uterine or ovarian cancer, the greater your chance of dying. I had a large mystery mass. I argued and argued that I didn't need surgery and didn't have anything wrong with me. It would have been the worst choice of my life. It was cancer.

I'm so sorry that your surgery didn't go well, and your surgeon wasn't better, but don't hold on to the pain of second guessing yourself if you had a large mass. Until medicine advances some more, you did the right thing. Now the question is finding the next right thing to do--and I'll be praying that you find the resources to be able to it.
