hard tummy 4 wks. post sah/tummy tuck

was having hot and cold flashes as well as hard tummy today. Turned out to be gas. Dr. had me take coloax suppositories. helped a lot, just burnt. So, swelly belly is a lot of gas too even after 4 weeks. It was so unconfortable that it caused me to sweat too.Ah, when will this be over?

The swelly belly can last many weeks and often many months. At 4 weeks post-op you are still early in your recovery. Continue to rest and pamper yourself. Be sure you are drinking plenty of water and taking some short walks - that can help the gas pains too. You may find it helpful to visit the HysterSister Forum called the Hormone Jungle .
