Seminar on Bioidentical Hormones

One poster mentioned that she went to a seminar on bioidentical hormones. How would one find out where these seminars are held?
Also, Does anyone know where on line you can find names of doctors that do the bioidentical therapy. The compounding pharmacy I called only would give me one name. I wanted to check with a few.

I have not been yet but I found a couple of "apothecaries" in my area that will make hormones for you. Look in you local phone book or ask doc. They will call your doc in most cases and get the rx from them, but from what I understand they make the combo there according to your needs, not what the doc says.

Do you have more than one compounding pharmacy in your area? This site www.iacprx.org has a pharmacy locator. You can also check your local yellow pages. Not all compounding pharmacies are alike. My first pharmacist wasn't so great, but the second one I tried has been an absolute doll. She has helped me so much.

Her in Fort Worth, TX, a health food store and a couple of compounding pharmacies periodicaly sponsor seminars on bio hormones, usually with a doctor as a speaker. It would be a good source for locating a doctor who is interested in and prescribes compounds and brand bioidenticals.
