Ms. Kelley makes all decisions in regard to the content selected for website articles, newsletters and daily oversees the volunteer staff within the forums with the help of a small team of contracted staff members. She is not a medical professional. She IS a woman’s educational advocate.

What is HysterSisters’ position on hysterectomy? Are you for or against them?

We are a patient support website and advocate for the best patient-doctor relationship. We believe that can be accomplished through peer-to-peer support that helps educate and inform women, and provides them with questions to discuss with their doctors.

HysterSisters is neither pro or anti-hysterectomy. However, at HysterSisters, we put a high priority on the information in its sections titled Alternatives to Hysterectomy and Hysterectomy Options. HysterSisters believes that the healthiest decisions made by patients are in partnership with an experienced medical professional who specializes in specific gynecological areas of need.
