Uterine Choriocarcinoma SymptomsWhat are the symptoms of uterine choriocarcinoma?

Symptoms of uterine choriocarcinoma can be similar to many other gynecologic conditions, but they usually occur after a complete hydatidiform mole or pregnancy. If you were recently pregnant or had a hydatidiform mole, and you experience irregular vaginal bleeding or pain, you may want to contact your doctor. It may not be cancer, but if it is cancer, it is better to catch it sooner than later.

Other symptoms may include:
  • Increased hCG level
  • Swelling of the uterus
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pain
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Anemia
  • Abdominal swelling
  • Vaginal lump
  • Overactive thyroid

If you suspect you have cancer, you should consult with a gynecologic oncologist who may have experience and expert knowledge that can be valuable for your immediate and long term prognosis.
