Do This - Not That: Mastering Aging During Menopause

From the Menopause and Hormones Articles List

Mastering Aging During MenopauseThere’s no fountain of youth from which to drink, so despite your best efforts you are going to get older. Birthday by birthday. And as you age, menopause will walk right beside you, tugging at your hand and trying to get you to stumble down the path.

To continue your journey through life, it’s going to take some planning. Thankfully, others have walked this path before you and they're willing to share some of their tips!

Below are just some of the suggestions your HysterSisters want to share with you about how to gracefully master aging during menopause. You can try some or all of them.

DO THIS:

NOT THAT:

  • Don’t suffer in silence.
  • Don’t stick with a doctor who won’t help.
  • Don’t ignore symptoms.
  • Don’t spend too much time in the sun without protection.
  • Don’t skimp on moisturizers – use a quality one regularly.
  • Don’t be lazy with your health – get moving, watch your diet, etc.
  • Don’t get in a boring rut – do something new, go on a trip, make new friends.
  • Don’t neglect the inner you.
  • Don’t smoke.
  • Don’t drink excessively.
  • Don’t give up.
