Well it is done. My scalp is burning, and what can be covered with a hat is what looks nice....What is orange is what cannot be covered with a hat....So it was a total failure!! I am going to now have to go spend the money I tried to save on a hairdresser.... wow my fingers are getting ahead of me....

I really want to go back ot my old icky color....Live and learn....

(((Kat))) I'm sorry the hair color didn't work out. While I do get a perm from my hairdresser, I've always been hesitant about coloring. I am a natural blonde, but have had others tell me that I should try coloring to make it more blonde. Not worth it to me.

I hope your hairdresser can fix it for you.

Harley Kat, I hope you get your hair to a color you really like. I can recommend an AWESOME conditioner for colored hair. It is made by L'Oreal, but can only be bought at Sally's beauty supply stores. But, it is the best conditioner ever! It's L'Oreal Feria Conditioner.

It is in a white tube with black print on the label. The cost is @$7.50 for a 6 ounce tube. It smells terrific and is truly great at restoring the damge that coloring does to your hair. Also, it adds such a wonderful shine to your hair.

Harley.... Go and get a V05 hot oil treatment for your hair. As a matter of fact I would do it 2 times this week. You need to renurish your hair.
I would also buy hair cholestrol and use that once a week after you use the V05 hot oil treatment. The only way you are going to fix the problem with the red is if you go to the hairdresser and get a toner put in before you dye it. BUT DO NOTHING until you strenghten your hair again with the hot oil treatments!!!!

Aw, I'm sorry about your disappointment in your hair color. I hope that you can get it fixed quickly.

I tried highlighting mine once and was very disappointed. It looked transparent in some places and white in others. I had it put back to my normal medium brown ( did keep the gray covered ).

Keep us updated - I'm sending good wishes for success!

Im thinking you might have to stem the hair or treat it before you colour it again. it might become brittle. oh dearI hope the hairdresser can fix it
