Definitely ask your doctor! I am a substitute teacher, day 12 post-op and cannot imagine trying to teach right now. Surgery went really well and little pain but if I try to do too much, I notice discomfort and/or spotting. Our school generally assumes teachers need 6 weeks off for this surgery. Might depend on whether you teach littles and need to be very active or older grades and can sit if necessary or do online.
