Today I’m going to get my hair and nails done, a little pampering. Tomorrow I’m going to clean my house, get things in order and pack my over night bag.
I’m trying to stay busy so I don’t have so much anxiety.

As you prepare for your surgery, I wanted to send you hugs and best wishes for your surgery and recovery.

It is normal to have questions and be nervous. Try to relax and remember this is the time to lean on others, time for you to be pampered. Your main job after surgery will be to heal well.

That sounds like a great plan to pamper yourself. this might be too late in you case to warn you but I remember something on my pre-surgery instructions about remove any nail polish. Not sure if you will run into this same issues? worst case as they might remove it at the hospital.
