22 hours to go, scheduled April 27th!
I am scheduled 4/27/2012 at 11:30 am, for a total hysterectomy and removal of left ovary and fallopian tube, by mid line incision. It is suspected that I have Endometriosis and that my left (8cm) ovarian mass is an Endometrioma (not suspected to be malignant ). They will still be sending a frozen section off during surgery to screen for malignancy.
(22 hours until surgery)
Drank my magnesium citrate a little bit a go. I t was very yucky and made my stomach upset. But I got it down without an issue. I am on a clear liquid diet all day and nothing after midnight tonight.
I am so nervous, I just want to get it over with. But at the same time, I can't believe it's real. I keep feeling like I am fine and I don't need surgery. My pain has been intermittent during the last 4 months, and at the moment I am feeling fine. I also keep think that my cyst is gone, because I am not feeling any discomfort. But I thought that before and the pain came rushing back.
But I know that the surgery is necessary and that I have to go through with it. I am just so scared and worried about everything.

What you are feeling is normal. Try your best to breathe in the good air and out the bad thoughts and relax as much as possible. You can do this!!

You seem to realize what you have to do. I have an evil ovary too and will be behind you.
Think good thoughts and go to your happy place.
Sometimes closing your eyes helps.
We will be here for you.

Just had my chicken broth. It was nice, when your so hungry and your mouth is dry, it's actually not so bad. But for some reason, I am craving Check Mix, of all things.
I am sorry you have to do so much for your bowl prep.
I wish you well tomorrow. You are not alone, so many of us will be going through it at the same time.

You're right there is nothing like a warm cup of chicken broth when you are starving!! Ok this is tmi but I have gotten so cleaned out that my butt is now bleeding!! I'm nauseated and dizzy! I am feeling like I will be ready for tomorrow because I'm feeling so crappy today!!! I'm 33 and from Illinois . I have 3 kids and did a surro pregnancy so I know it's time to remove the pain but such a bittersweet feeling!!
