If your ovaries are healthy, please consider keeping them. If you have your ovaries removed you are thrown into surgical menopause. It is not easy. Getting your hormones balanced can take alot of tinkering.
Even after menopause your ovaries still dribble good things which help your heart, bones and skin. Your own hormones are always better for you than HRT. I have a link for you to read which might help you with your decision.

I did not have a choice as I had cancer. I cannot take HRT. It is not a piece of cake trying to feel good again and tinkering with supplements and vitamins. I have a great Dr. who is walking with me through this, but I am the one who has the hot flashes, night sweats, achy feeling, insomnia.
If you keep them now and later they are causing you fits, you can always have them removed. But once removed, you can`t get them back. If they are healthy, my advice is to keep them.
Wishing you a speedy return to good health.
