Scared silly!!

I'm just being a big baby here with my surgery 6 days away. I'm soooo nervous about my complete H, that I'm not able to sleep and I'm trying to keep real busy so I don't think about it. The good thing about that is my spring cleaning is already done!!!
I know,I'll be allright...
Did anyone use the spine pain reliever for after surgery? I don't like the idea of having something in my back?? I know....Chicken!!!

I had an epidural for pain control. It worked absolutely GREAT for me after my last surgery. I didn't really feel the needle in my back once it was in place. And it's surprisingly tolerable having it inserted. Really, you can relax about this. Can't you? After it's over you'll realize the energy you spent worrying wasn't necessary. I'm pretty sure about that. But it's normal, we all did it.

I didn't need an epidural, didn't have one, no problems. If I had gotten my pain meds dispensed to me in a timely manner from the hospital pharmacy, I would have suffered very little indeed. As it was, the pain wasn't as bad as a bad period.
