Jenrine -

You are not alone in your feelings and I have been there too. It is very normal for emotions to seem out of whack. We are going through a life altering surgery and it is going to be for the better. Just remember the reason you are doing it and that you will be on the way to a new you after Wednesday!

Take care of your self and don't be embarassed or feel you are wrong for being emotional!!

Maybe take a warm bath before bed tonight to relax...

Re: emotional mess ugh

Hang in there. I didn't sleep much the night before my surgery. Then I got up in the morning early and read my Bible. I really wanted to calm my mind before I went to surgery. There will be frustrations ahead but remember you are a strong woman. There is a purpose for this surgery.

Re: emotional mess ugh

I was such a mess the last two days before and the morning of surgery. But, once i was awake, even though I was in pain from the surgery, I knew the worst was OVER. A few weeks after surgery, especially if the main reason you had it was due to pain, you'll start to appreciate how much chronic pain screws up your life.
