Surrogate/gestational carrier?

Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering if any of you had experience working with a gestatational carrier or surrogate mother to have a child.

We would like to adopt but because I have MS it is very difficult for us to "move up the list", despite the fact that I am asymptomatic and otherwise in excellent health. So it looks like surrogacy may be the only option for us.

Any thoughts? TIA!

Beth

Surrogate/gestational carrier?

Dear Beth:

Here is a good website that addresses issues & offers support regarding adoption and surrogacy:

http://fertilethoughts.com/

It's my understanding that a PUBLIC adoption agency could be less likely to discriminate against you for your medical issues, so you may want to investigate that.

Good luck on your quest to be a mom. I am sending huge cyberhugs
