Who or What is your pet named after??

My DH bought me a Ragdoll kitten for my belated birthday (the kitten was not old enough for my birthday) and my son and I named him Desi as in "I Love Lucy." When we went to have him checked at the vet we found out that Desi was a "she" and not a "he" but we kept the name, extending her proper name to Desserie but we like Desi much better. The vet wanted to know if we were going to call her Lucy. LOL Desi is so pretty, she has the bluest eyes you ever did see and is a Blue Point (white with a light tan running down her back and smoky tipped ears, feet, and tail). Wish I could attach a picture to show everyone.

Hugs,
Toni

I got my 11 year old Lhasa when he was seven weeks old. He was so little, cute and playful. I thought he would bring joy to my life. So I named him T. J. which stands for Tiny Joy. He still brings me joy to this day!

My 8 month old Rotty is named Venus after the goddess. She symbolized spring and I got Venus on March 26 which is the start of spring.
