Smile - Casanova Casanova

Last night I went with a girlfriend to see the latest version of the story of Casanova. While I found the beginning and ending few minutes, and transitions to and from the story in between, a bit awkward and lame, I basically enjoyed the movie. If you're expecting entertainment, you'll be happy... if you're expecting an educational experience, or new insight into the legend of Casanova, you may be disappointed. It's fluff, but it has its funny moments.

Not for young children - there are bordello scenes, constant sexual references (not surprising given the subject matter) and lots of ladies coming out of their bodices. In context, it adds to the story, but it may not be appropriate for younger viewers.

Do they mention anywhere that he was a librarian?

i saw it this weekend with a girlfriend too. it was a mindless but enjoyable light comedy. i did like the costumes and scenery. but overall i thought it was a little too long. i did enjoy all the love triangles though.

Only triangles? With Casanova, I would have expected at least pentagons!
