Day at the Beach!!!

Ah Broin don't underestimate your country mates. Everyone we met were extremely friendly and helpful.

So after showing up late I've finally caught up on the posts. Here in So. Cal. we are currently in the high 50's but it's only after 10am. We are supposed to get to 82. I'm really loving the current heat spell but tomorrow is supposed to be the last day before rain and highs in the 50's.

Chris-I have a tat I got when I was 18 and got it on my behind. I like it there because it's my little secret and no one has to see it. While it hurt it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually been thinking about getting another but haven't decided what or where, maybe near my hip bone in front? My husband is teasing that I'm going through a midlife crisis because I also want my belly button pierced. I have lost about 30lbs and wore a bikini for the first time in 14yrs in Cozumel over the holidays.

I'm glad we have this today...I really needed this as it's not a good day.

Day at the Beach!!!

Chris, don't worry about the chili, I have a beef in guinness heating up in the oven, definitely not beach food!

Book club great idea, just hope my brain gets back into gear soon! Will look on my selves for some suggestions for ya.

CharMay, good for you getting to Paris & Rome, as a percentage of the population usually it's the older americans that get to visit europe. Ye are all lucky in the US cos there is so much variety and so many things to see without actually leaving!

Gosh that 60 second thing is annoying!!

Day at the Beach!!!

I'm looking at the bottom of my screen and seeing a few other sisters who are reading this thread. Please feel free to jump right in and tell us what you're doing right now.

What I should be doing is planning my Tuesday night class, but I will get that done when the beach closes. Sigh.

Day at the Beach!!!

I never got my discussion on Jane Eyre. I transferred fro Newport, RI before my group got together. It may be too deep for us recovering folk though. I also have a very promising book: Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
