For the last three days, they have been kicked around the hall, up and down the hall, always some place new when I see them. But the two DS and DH don't seem to see them at all. I'm afraid to mention them.
HAHAHAHA I hear ya! I see dog toys EVERYWHERE and how many people have to pass the gum wrapper on the hall floor before someone picks it up?

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Wanting to go home & be a real slacker for a while. My chihuahua loves it when I have a heating pad on my tummy. He snuggles on it & goes to sleep. I guess that makes him my slacker partner.

Oh gawd! I think a stitch came lose with that one. Please stick around. We need all the slackin' encouragement we can get.

I'm glad so many of you are enjoying the thread. I hope more sisters will join in.

My dust bunnies have multiplied and they've invited their friends, the cobwebs, to join them. Just need a few spiders and I'll be set for Halloween.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Speaking of Halloween... Some days I slack so much on fixing my hair, my DH tells me I have "Witch Hazel Hair".

Good time of year to be a slacker for those of us with unruly hair, I suppose.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

Woo hoo, no need to decorate for Halloween. You are the ultimate slacker.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I definitely lost the slacker spirit today.... threw away the dead flowers I got 2 weeks ago for welcome home, cleaned out the cabinet under the sink (while sitting on the floor) - getting rid of all the empty bottles that no one else seems to realize need to be thrown away, put away the 30 or so DVD's I have watched over the resting period (again, no one else seems to see the pile, but again, I sat on the floor to do it). Now I'm done. And I have a long list for the grown son, who by the way, just asked me for money..... hmmmmm, time to earn it I think !

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I'm a faithful attendee of the slacker class today.
I had a doctor appt to check out my incision site, and it wiped me out so thoroughly that I went home and have not been out of my "throne" except to go to the thrown. I've requested service of a sandwich, water and pretzels from my faithful flesh and blood, who graciously gave it to me.
Now it's 7:30 and my dear hubby who runs a paper route at 3AM until 6AM and then works his daytime job from 7:30-4 is taking a nap. He'll have to get up tonight to help my 25 yr old son move out of his apt and <gasp> move back home (he's in the process of getting a divorce). This slacker mom is not moving from her throne or dictating any orders.

Re: Whatcha' slackin on today?

I must confess: I'm no longer a princess. If you care to look, my hyster date was July 19! Who's the queen slacker now?

However, I did have a setback a couple of weeks ago and was told to rest again. I'm doctor ordered to one more week of slacking. Sure wish this thread had started in July--what a hoot!
Thanks Sisters.
