Supra cervical Hysterectomy and ?'s

I am suposed to have supracervical Hysterectomy feb 23, does anyone know anything about this? How long is recovery and how long of a stay in the castle? does anyone know? Thanks in advance,

It's major surgery, and the recovery time is the same whether or not the cervix is removed with the rest of the uterus.

There can be a slight difference in recovery time depending on the procedure: Abdominal, Vaginal, etc. The initial time that we are supposed to be out of work, or with lifting restrictions isn't the total recovery time. We expect that at 6 weeks we have healed 50%. And, complete healing can take 6 months to a year. So, it is important to rest with your feet up and follow your doctor’s instructions in regard to weight limits for lifting, etc.
