Hello my fellow Sisters

I am your Sunshine Sister, here with

and Best Wishes for your surgery tomorrow and to let you know you that you are not alone.

First Sisterly advice:

· Try and relax, maybe do something special for yourself.
· Let your Dr and nurses do the worrying.
They have done this before and will be focused on you and the best outcome

· Rest and get plenty of good sleep and drink a lot of water until the hour you were told to stop intake. This will help your body be in the best shape possible.

· Please join me and your surgery week sisters on your Recovery Progress Report thread as soon as you feel up to posting.

Re: Best Wishes to our December 08 Princesses

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Any of you other ladies doing bowel prep today? I’m having a hard time with nausea and threw up some of the orangey flavored liquid cleaner-outer my doctor gave me when I took the second dose a little while ago. I managed to keep most of it down. I’m guessing this won’t be a problem since the first dose is working overtime!

Please don't hesitate to start a new thread of your own on the Pre-Op message board so that your question doesn't get missed on this Best Wishes thread. This thread isn't meant as a place to ask questions.

Be sure to call your doctor with any questions you have about the bowel prep you are doing today.

I'm not doing bowel prep for this, however, I understand your pain. I had a endoscopy/colonoscopy a few years back and had to do the prep... I put mine in a wine glass and just pretended it was a very poorly flavored wine...

I would contact the doctor's office and double check, but I'm guessing that you'll be plenty cleaned out!

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow!

Is anyone else having issues with magnesium drink? I’m having chills and stomach pains! So not fun.

Thanks Myssa119 - I do feel “cleaned out”. I texted my Dr. just in case too.
