I guess it's really going to happen!!

Just got off the phone with the Hospital. Set up my pre-op apt. It's the 22nd of March. One week before my surgery. I guess this is really going to happen now. For some reason I didn't think I would hear from them till the week before - silly of me I guess. I really feel like crying right now and I don't know why!! I see my GYN on monday for another Pap (first one was abnormal and he wanted to redo in a month).

Thanks for everyone one here for all their posts - it really has made me feel better about things.

The feelings you are having are normal. I think when all the real dates of things come in it makes it all a reality. Just take things one day at a time, and make sure you make time for yourself, and everything will be fine. Let us know how it goes we are hear for you.

I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT ALL THESE FEELINGS ARE NATURAL.....EACH STEP THAT BROUGHT ME CLOSER TO THE ACTUAL SURGERY .......SCARED ME TO DEATH!

I KNOW A LOT OF THE LADIES SAY THIS ......BUT FOR ME IT ALSO PROVED TO BE TRUE......THE WAITING IS THE WORST!

I WAS CRYING ALL THE TIME.....ALL IT WAS FOR ME THE MORNING OF SURGERY WAS.......I GOT DRESSED IN A GOWN.....THE NURSE STARTED AN IV.

I FOUND THAT THE MORNING OF MY SURGERY THE LORD BLESSED ME TO BE SO CALM......SO AS I WAS LYING IN THE BED WAITING TO GO INTO SURGERY.....I WAS FINE.......MY FAMILY WAS WITH ME.

THEY CAME TO TAKE ME BACK ......I NEVER EVEN REMEMBER ENTERING THE O.R.,......THE NEXT THING I KNEW THEY WERE PUTTING ME IN MY HOSPITAL ROOM!

Thank you so much for all your support. Reading these post I know everyone seems to go through this. My DH sent me a hug via ecard just now - sometimes he can be so sweet!!
