Surgery set for next week

I WAS TOLD MY H.G.B IS 6.9 AND I WAS TOLD M.C.H.C IS 28.0 RED CELLS IS 3.29 i surgey is set for next week and i was told i'll be home in less then 24 hrs after it my uters is enlarge so its coming out an i'm scared out of my mind

My heart goes out to you. If you can rest and take really good care of yourself that may help you deal with all this. I know its tough to deal with all the thoughts and concerns going through your mind. Stay positive and hang in there.

I know how you feel.It is scary. Mine is on the first. I am a bit nervous that they are only keeping me overnight as I have had pain control issues in the past. It seems way too quick to send us home.

I have learned a lot here though and I feel more in control. Search around here and you'll find lots of info to help aleve your fears.

Being frightened is normal. Try to focus on the positive. When did you find out you needed a hysterectomy? How long have you had the date? It seems like this is new news for you. If so your mind must be reeling. There have been other ladies that had little or no time to prepare, hopefully they will be along soon with words of wisdom. In the mean time is there anything specific that is frightening you the most?
