TAH and Colon Issues (adhesions)

So the day is even closer now and I thank everyone who replied to my last post about being scared to death. It is comforting to know there are other women out there to help support and calm my fears. I am very thankful for each and every one of you.

So now I was wondering if anyone has ever had a TAH with some colon work at the same time. Apparently I have adhesions on my colon as well. They found this when I had my last lapo almost three years ago. I had some parts adhered to other parts that weren't supposed to be so they repaired that back then. However, I will be having two surgeons working on me when I go to the Castle in a couple of weeks. I met with the other specialist a month ago. He was really nice and had good surgery hands. I wanted to meet him ahead of time so I know what kind of doctor (personality) he is. My husband liked him too. He advised us of all the posibilities of what might or could happen and that scared me too. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had something similar.

Well, I didn't have a TAH or any other work done at the time of my hysterectomy. Hopefully, someone around here who dealt with additional work during their surgery and/or had adhesions will stop by and share their story.
