Upcoming hysterectomy 9/13: Need Good Encouraging News

I don't think weight gain is guaranteed to happen. I am 5 weeks out and weight 3-5 lbs less than I did before the surgery. It looks like more because the terrible bloating I was having pre-surgery is gone. It think it depends on the person. Haven't been cleared for sex yet, but everything seems to feel the same as far as I can tell. I certainly haven't lost interest. I think sometimes the horror stories dominate because people who are happy with their outcomes don't always take the time to post about it on the internet. Hugs.
