Word of advice post op... Movies not to watch ...

After having a Hysterectomy the movies not to watch right after.........

Fried Green Tomatoes

Bridge to Terabithia

Miracles from Heaven

Oh and Pit Bulls and Parolees

I kept both ovaries so I shouldn't be too emotional! WRONG!

Good advice! We record Pit Bulls and Parolees and I regularly cry during the show but it was even worse after surgery.

Adds another one to that list:

Me Before You

(watched it a few months after surgery and had my first episode of tears dripping down my face)

It's a cute movie before it pulls the rug out from under you. I definitely would wait those few months. What would have been a couple of tears turned out to be streams.

I had my hysterectomy right before Christmas, and I watched a steady stream of cheesy, sappy Hallmark Christmas movies. And I sobbed through every single one of them. The crying felt like a good release to me - I was such a hormonal and emotional mess!

Hallmark movies are the worse.....I avoid them like the plague...
