Hope your surgery went well. Sounds like mine was textbook. The first couple hours after surgery were rough. But the nurses are managing my pain well so I feel so much better. I have a lot less pain that I thought I'd have. It's definitely not nearly as bad as I imagined it.

Only recently has the fear and anxiety hit me and my lap partial is technically TOMORROW 9/8. I hadn't been nervous before now. This isn't my first major surgery.

I'm really scared about how well my pain will be managed because my doctor is giving me a very low dose of vicodin when I have a high tolerance thanks to my previous surgeries.

I'm also struggling with how I'm going to keep myself busy during recovery. I've been near-bed-ridden this past month waiting for the stupid surgery, in pain and fatigued. The boredom has been so stifling, its been like living in a vacuum. I just want my life back! I want to go back to the job I love and being able to be a normal member of society again!

Yes I am super scared. I have one surgery sept 16th for a pilonidal cyst removal ,hysterectomy and bladder sling on oct 24th. I have a lot going on and freakin' out. Are you okay? How was your surgery? Are you super sore?? Tell me more..
