Great News!

Hi all! Gosh it's been such a long time since I've posted. I have just received great news from my gyno/oncologist and wanted to share with everyone -- my biopsy came back with no signs of cancer and I couldn't be happier!

I was diagnosed with early endometrial cancer in Dec 05 and my gut feeling was not to move forward with a radical hysterectomy even though 4 doctors told me it was the right course of treatment. Instead I requested Progestin Therapy (Prometrium). My doctors weren't convinced it would work and said I wasn't a good candidate. I just finished 3 months treatment and my uterine lining went from 1.4cm to 0.5cm ... that more than a 50% reduction! No one knows if I will remain cancer-free, so for now I'll concetrate on the positive. What a glorious day!

Thanks to everyone on this board. Although I don't post a lot, I appreciate the support this forum provides. You are truly a fantastic group of ladies.

to all
