Everyone heals differently but the biggest thing I have heard is that ppl do too much too soon and end up back on the sofa. You really want to plan ahead and allow yourself 4-6 wks to heal. I have children too and I know how hard it is when you are expected to do everything. You just have to do your best to get others to help you and learn to let certain things go while you heal.
